The GSEB conducts 2 (including 4-semester type examinations) main examinations - The lyceum Certificate (SSC) exam for normal 10 and thus the upper Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC)examination for normal XI-XII students in Gujarat. Apart from this, Gaumutra based Ayurvedic treatment center is also run here. Where diseased people receive treatment. The history of this wonderful temple located in Jamalpur area of Ahmedabad is also full of unique and divine power. About four and a half hundred years ago, a monk was wandering in the Sabarmati belt. This Mahatma, a devotee of Hanuman, built a hut here.
One day while they were swimming on the river bank, some daghuas were coming. His heart melted when he saw the lamentation of these lakes, he found out that the young man had died while inquiring, the Mahatma recited some mantras to comfort the loved ones of the deceased young man and sprinkled water on the young man and they went to his hut.
Some time after his death, the young man woke up feeling sluggish, everyone was shocked to see this miracle and went to the feet of the Mahatma and bowed down. As word spread in the village, the villagers requested the Mahatma to stay here. Seeing the price of the villagers, the monk built a small temple of Hanumanji here and stayed there. In time, his disciple Sarangdasji, like his guru, got a unique tea among the people and started a cow school to solve the milk problem in the area. Narasimhadasji Maharaj, who came later, was also an idol of simplicity.
