Health ID Card: During the Corona period, the Central Government is preparing to keep the health records of every citizen of the country in digital form. With this card, doctors will be able to check, advise or treat all your medical records based on your unique ID from anywhere. This initiative will be very useful in the field of telemedicine.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is preparing to introduce 'One Nation One Health Card' soon like 'One Nation One Ration Card'. According to sources, the central government may announce the National Digital Health Mission on August 15. Under this scheme, health data of every citizen of the country will be on one platform. Apart from this, a unique health ID card will be prepared for everyone. In this data, information about health services, along with details of doctors and hospitals will be available across the country.
According to sources, the National Digital Health Mission has received in-principle approval from the Union Cabinet. Hopefully, by the end of this week, the mission will get official approval. Sources also said that the Prime Minister may launch on August 15 with his announcement.
Everyone has to create a health card through the government's One Nation One Health Card scheme. Complete information about the results and treatment will be saved digitally in this card. This will be recorded. Its biggest advantage will be that when you go to any hospital or doctor in the country for treatment, you will not have to take all the prescriptions and test reports with you. Doctors will be able to access your records with your unique health ID wherever they are.
Hospitals, clinics, doctors will be connected to the central server to keep the medical information of the person. For which an integrated system will be developed. For the hospital and the citizens it will now be up to them whether they want to join this mission or not. A unique ID will be provided for each citizen. Login will be done on the basis of whether the person has his unique health ID number or not. This number can also be linked to the person's email ID and mobile number. So that one time password i.e. otp can be sent. In addition, this ID is likely to be linked to the Aadhaar card in the future. The National Digital Health Mission focuses primarily on four things. Health ID, personal health records, registration of DG doctors and health facilities across the country. Thus, this mission could prove to be a revolutionary step.
According to the information received, the scheme will first be launched in selected states of the country and then it will be implemented in different phases of the country. Thus this will be a pilot project. Based on the result obtained, it will be modified etc. and later it will be implemented in the whole country.
The finance ministry has also sanctioned Rs 470 crore for this. The scheme will take full care of the confidentiality of the data of Health ID holders. No one else will be able to get their information without their consent. People can also add this health ID to the Aadhaar card manually, the option will be open for this too.

Findings suggest that in the very near future, India will become the most populous country in the world. It could also overtake China at a time when there are currently very few options available to the system to prevent the transition other than maximum testing. That tracking will be easier and the epidemic can be fought systematically. It will also help in enhancing medical facilities.
